A sunny day in Rome

If you're planning a trip to Rome in a few months' time, here are a few good addresses for a day full of adventure! At Anja, we like to combine culture with adventure!

8:00 am - We wake up gently at the Hotel Gran Melia, one of the hotels recommended by Condé Nast, a travel guide we love and trust 100%! After breakfast, we put on our best swimsuit Anja and head to the pool for a swim to get the day off to a good start.

10H00 - We head for the Antico Caffè Grecoone of the oldest cafés in Rome to enjoy a typical Italian cappuccino before tackling what promises to be an emotional day!

11:00 - Meet Anne Caroline from "Si Rome m'était contée", our French guide who takes us on a unique and entertaining tour of the Colosseum! A real nugget.

1:00 pm - We treat ourselves to lunch at the Aroma restaurant, with its breathtaking view of the Colosseum! A feast for the eyes and the taste buds!

2:30 p.m. - After getting your strength back, head to old Rome for a Segway tour of the city! It's the perfect way to get around the crowds of tourists!

4:00 pm - We go for an ice cream at Giolitti's, a historic ice cream parlour, to taste genuine Italian ice cream. Our favorite flavor: Fior di Latte!

5:00 pm - Visit the Villa Borghese, Rome's most famous park, home to the famous Villa Medici and the Galleria Borghese. This is the place

on Sundays!

7:00 pm- We choose a cool, well-deserved cocktail at the Hôtel de Russie, which we love for its shady terrace.

8:00 pm - We get lost in the narrow streets of Trastevere, and stumble across Dar Poeta, an Italian institution serving up pizzas to die for!
